The common disorders among women of reproductive age are ureteric fibroids and endometriosis . Growing evidence suggests that these conditions are associated with heart disease, hypertension, and cancer. However, the impact of endometriosis and uterine fibroids on early death in women below the age of 70 remains unclear. A study examined this association on 110,091 women aged 25 to 42 in 1989.

The study conducted from 1989 to 2019 found that the rate of all-cause premature mortality in women with and without laparoscopically confirmed endometriosis was 2.0 & 1.4 per 1000 person-years, respectively.
