The daily routine of a busy and a competent physician starts from the morning and ends late at night. Pharma MRs start hovering around since morning, even outside his chamber before he opens his clinic/office. If you refuse to meet them, they forcibly enter into your chamber and intrude in your privacy. And they supposedly target successful doctors. For example- If a company has 15 divisions and each division has two MRs, all of them will want to meet you at the same day, same time because their boss is in that city that day.
Ultimately, you will have to meet a few of them. Almost every once and then, small seminars/discussions are organised by pharma companies and doctors are called to attend them.
