Airway strictures and stenosis are caused by tuberculosis, cancer, and other inflammatory conditions. Patients present with breathlessness not responding to medical therapy. Bronchoscopy examination and/or CT scan of the chest can be useful in the diagnosis of these conditions. One such technique is balloon bronchoplasty, a bronchoscopic technique of dilating airway strictures with balloon catheters. It can be done as a daycare procedure or under general anesthesia, depending on the severity of airway stenosis.
To share more details about balloon bronchoplasty used to treat airway stenosis, we have organized a MasterSeries webinar on 25 th August 2021, 3:00 PM onwards. In this session, Dr. Abhijit Ahuja will share his experience on Balloon Bronchoplasty in Airway Stenosis with the community. Do not miss this session!
