Recently, three cases were encountered in our hospital when attendants refused to pay up. All these cases underwent PCI for CAD in the cardiology department. Though billing is alert and keeps an eye on all such cases but somehow everyone lapsed. Two out of these three unfortunately expired due to multiple ailments and third case though well treated was not fully satisfied. This all happened in a span of 24 hours hence attracted more attention of the management.

Discharges were not stopped as it would have been illegal and inhumane. The patient not fully satisfied with our team returned after about a week and made the pending payment. Second patient who was showing signs of good recovery after Primary Angioplasty suddenly succumbed and could not be revived.
