Bilateral erythema, tenderness of the auricles and thickening and deformity of pinnae (sparing ear lobules) was observed. The right tympanic membrane was congested Ophthalmologic examination revealed bilateral congestion, inflammation of the conjunctival, episcleral, and scleral vessels.
