These controversies have arisen after comparing the methods given in Das examination of surgery and Mcleods clinical methods. 1) what is the proper position of the clinician during examination?
In front of the patient or at the side? 2) while examining from the front, patient's arm should be relaxing on the examining forearm or on the contralateral forearm of clinician? 3) while examination, whether to stabilize the ipailateral shoulder or the contralateral shoulder of the patient?
