The 2019 coronavirus disease outbreak (COVID-19) has spread quickly around the globe and now it has been proclaimed as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). Many cancer patients visit the hospital regularly for treatment and disease surveillance. Because of the underlying malignancy and anticancer treatment, cancer patients have an additional double elevated chance of developing SARS-CoV-2. The effect of such a pandemic on cancer patients needs to be tackled urgently. It involves resource allocation, critical care, and consent procedure during a pandemic. Currently, there are no guidelines to address the management of cancer patients in any infectious disease pandemic.
