Recently I came across this new book. The Textbook of Gynecology book is written by Dr. J. B. Sharma, Professor of Obstetrics and gynecology AIIMS.
I congratulate Sir for successfully bringing this book. I consider myself lucky, as he had taught me during 1996-1997 when I was doing my final year of medical graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College. The “Textbook of Gynecology” is a well-written book, comprehensive book covering especially the basic fundamentals as regards the theoretical as well as practical and skill-based knowledge of gynecology goes. The book is divided into 10 sections covering all aspects of Gynecology comprehensively and supported by flowcharts, tables and good quality figures make it very readable. The book is meant for undergraduates but with the latest guidelines and evidence-based medicine included in the chapters, it will be good for postgraduate students…
