Brain tumor is a deadly uncommon disease and occurs when the cells in the brain grow abnormally. Worldwide, around 1% of 3 lakh cancer cases are annually found to be of brain tumor. Brain tumor is of two types: Benign and malignant. Malignant brain tumor can be primary brain tumors , where the tumors begin from the brain or secondary brain tumors, which originate from elsewhere and spread throughout the body. The most common primary brain tumors in adults are meningioma, oligodendroglioma, and astrocytoma . In children, medulloblastoma, ependymoma, and brain stem glioma  are  commonly seen.
