What is the current status of deceased organ donation in India with particular reference to the state of Karnataka? Does anyone know? I have been in the UK for the last 5 years and before I left in 2009 it was almost non existent with majority of donors being living donors.
I have heard that some states now have an established organ donation and allocation programmes which is highly commendable. Any such developments in Karnataka and Bangalore in particular?
