Is it justified- under the PCPNDT act, all MBBS doctors who have been doing ultrasound for the last 10-15 years on the basis of six-month training or one year experience be suddenly asked to appear for a full-fledged exam and clear it in one month notice. This is barring us from our fundamental rights. It has been imposed that no Sonologist can work in more than 2 Centres.
How can one be not allowed to work. This is very harsh on a beginner who works at several clinics to make a living. Doctors who have been doing dedicated Ultrasonography for the past 15-20 years will be left with no work at this stage when they are about to retire, what about their survival?
