I had 65 year old male presented with pain abdomen. On examination and investigation he had acute cholangitis with cholecystitis. He had jaundice and coagulopathy. After doing conservative management he was discharged. To call him for E.R.C.P. after a week. There he came across a T.V.
program of ayurvedic Physician in which he claimed he can dissolve the Stones of biliary tree. So pt didn't turn out for planned procedure. He underwent all ayurvedic treatment by learned Physician and meanwhile on his advice he stopped all allopathy drugs. He landed again with severe cholangitis nd emphysematous cholecystitis. With great difficulty he could be saved. May I know if anybody has come across any evidence based data that this particular condition can be cured or treated by various alkalis.
