A recent research study has found that Ketamine, a drug used to induce general anesthesia and depression may help to alleviate migraine pain in patients who have not been helped by other treatments. Apart from its anesthetic use, the drug provides powerful pain control for patients with many painful conditions in lower doses. Although, the study focused only on short-term relief, but its results revealed that ketamine might have the potential to help alleviate migraine.
