The topic opens a Pandora box of forensic medicine departments and autopsy, what are wrong practices going on in the system we work. It was a different past till 90's there were established departments of forensic medicine in medical colleges and full fledged facilities to train the undergraduates in basics in doing a post-mortem. With mushrooming of the private medical colleges we have few professors to work as full-time teachers, and there are restriction and permission to do post postmortems in private medical colleges.
We are producing plenty of undergraduates who have no idea what post mortem is and law and regulation of medical registration make them eligible to do post postmortems.
