Recently, there is a surge in the attacks on doctors mainly due to the allegation of negligence. A large number of doctors are working abroad and earned name and fame. Why is it not so in India? Is it the working conditions, lack of manpower and material or the lack of skill in dealing with the patients - both in communication and otherwise; or is it the financial burden that they are subjected to, in which case the government or the insurance can take care.

Of course, the media does have a pessimistic view more often than not. Although the percentage of morbidity and mortality is much less compared to, say three decades ago (due to advances worldwide), the reaction is hostile. Can we tackle this menace from getting pandemic?
