A 39-year-old female patient who lost eight organs to cancer has returned to work as a flight dispatcher at an airport in England. When doctors detected a tumor in her appendix in 2023, she began planning her funeral. However, according to the patient, she underwent “the mother of all surgeries” to become cancer-free . In spring 2023, the patient started experiencing pain she believed was caused by period problems.
Unfortunately, an ultrasound revealed an ovarian cyst. During surgery to remove the cyst, doctors discovered she had pseudomyxoma peritonei.
