The current article is an update in the field of cardiology, adopted from the clinical findings published in the renowned journal “Journal Of American College Of Cardiology”. This article reports a study which assessed the feasibility of using left ventricular assist devices (LVADs) in advanced heart failure patients either as a bridge to transplantation or as destination therapy. The article may be useful for practicing cardiologists to implement similar observations in their daily practice.
