Case reports should be considered as a publication for promoting a medical teacher. Now there is criteria of MCI that they consider only original article for promotion of medical teacher. But case reports are rare and so these are studied and we used to publish it. If we wait for many similar cases to prepare a original article it will take years . They can take 2, 3 or 4 cases equivalent to one article. But appretiation is required as Case reports are informative. We learn from it.
Through which about rare causes we can think. It also need same efforts to study and write, so it should consider as a publication for promotion of medical teacher. Many times colleges are new.
