A very interesting ophthalmic article in brief cataract surgery was removal of lens with or without capsule known as intracapsular or extracapsular extraction. The main key was a 180 corneoscleral section was made by V Grefs cataract knife and removal of lens was done by Argos forceps however no IOL was used. Most of the cataract surgery in past was not done under microscope later on even with microscope same method was applied but no IOL was used.

3 or 5 corneoscleral sutures were applied and there was no viscoelastic substance ac was mostly formed by injecting air.
