On this Independence Day, I opened the local paper and find a private hospital was ransacked by a mob. Reason, a young man with acute chest pain was admitted in a critical condition and died in spite of doctors' efforts to revive him. Soon after a mob gathered along with related parties claiming " wrong treatment / wrong injection "was administered so the doctors should be punished.
(That young man was a driver and ignored his chest pain for considerable time without seeking medical help) This phenomenon has become a familiar scene across the Country esp., in Tamil Nadu . What will the concerned hospital doctors do in future?
