Evidence suggests that chronic venous diseases can lead to degenerative diseases if not treated on time. Varicose veins are the most common chronic venous diseases that frequently recur despite the availability of advanced endovenous therapies, such as laser, radiofrequency, sclerotherapy, glue, or mechanochemical ablation. Conventional surgical interventions can only be considered feasible by adopting minimal possible invasion, better efficacy, and cost-effectiveness. The long-term effectiveness of any of these modalities is yet to be proven; however, unbiased patient and treatment selection can help achieve optimum outcomes without compromising patient well-being.
