A four year old male kid , gives history  of chronic cough with more than three weeks,   Cough is unproductive, child had a course of augmentin for five days  and syrup ascoril  but no relief , chest  X-ray and blood reports are all normal,  now the  paediatrician adviced to take butucort inhalers twice daily and montair Lc kid  tab for two months,  is this justified? ?

Cough is aggravated at night and child is not able to sleep properly because of severity of cough,
