Surgical procedures in the patients on anticoagulant treatment always have a risk of perioperative bleeding. Femoral neck fracture is one such complication which needs surgical management and very common in elderly patients. These patients often carry comorbidities  like cardiac disease and mostly on clopidogrel treatment. Whether to continue the clopidogrel during such a surgical procedure or not is a big question.
