I am a practicing clinical pathologist, since 24 yrs. I want to know that what should be my policy when a clinician refers me a patient for investigations, and ask to offer some concession in fees only to impress himself the patient. Where this patient is not poor, inspite is quite wealthy n rich, and clinician has referred me not a single patient before.
I always get irritated with these types of events.My wellwisher friend says I can actually make show off of giving concession by charging him more than actual. So that patient as well as clinician will be happy without getting me into loss. What is your opinion?
