An important tool in the cardiac workup of CAD, it is not accepted widely by Cardiologists especially in India. The fact should be understood that if CAG is like a video of an individual to be assessed for marriage, the CT Coronary Angiography is like a photo. Both have got important roles to play to assess. The same is applicable in CAD workup. Some centres routinely do both. But it is really useful in certain areas of work up is my finding.

In ALCAPA it is the best investigation for correct diagnosis. In Myocardial bridging especially when suspected milking effect is noted in CAG. Recently a normal CAG patient was subjected to CTCA and found to have myocardial bridging of severe nature.
