Death Should Be Declared By Police Or Security Personals Or Administrative Heads Always

*DEATH SHOULD BE DECLARED BY POLICE OR SECURITY PERSONALS OR ADMINISTRATIVE HEADS ALWAYS* Hereafter death should be declared by police or security or administrative heads only. Why should doctors declare death ? Would it help the patient become alive in anyway rather than getting assaulted ? Why we doctors should carry that stress unnecessarily for fault of Indian medical system ? When i was about to declare a death of patient in one private hospital , I was not allowed to declare and administrative people & security personals only were allowed to declare death.

Then i came to know that it is routine procedure in that hospital to prevent assault of doctors , staffs and damage to hospital equipments.
