A 64 yr old male diabetic admitted in a medical college, 2 months ago with left great toe gangrene. He was Diagnosed with ( L) DFI, PNP, PVD (SFA90℅block), septicemia, and uncontrolled blood glucose(HRF). Amputation of great toe with a wound of 3*3cm was dressed daily till today. Today he presented at my OPD for expert opinion on new lesion near old healing wound.
No h/o pain, fever, chills, rigors and soaking . Dressing was done by surgeon daily until today. What could be the possible reason amongst remission or deterioration of gangrene?
