She was brought to me for loss of weight. She did not have any specific complaint. Her appetite was very good and and she was a working girl. Here I missed the diagnosis and thought she was over working both at home and at work.
Her mother and sister were worried and they went to an aurvedic doctor who asked them to do a urine routine. The urine showed suger++. So we got the blood suger tests which proved the diagnosis of Diabetes. I have refered her to a Diabetolgist and waiting her second visit, In such cases do we start insulin and if so plain or mixed?
