Current article highlights the leading causes and radical treatment practices to be adopted. According to WHO around 4 million children under age of 5 die of diarrhea/ year in developing countries. Only 29 % of poor population manage to give rehydration oral therapy to infants and 52% of seeking medical help. Diarrhea is the leading cause of malnutrition in infants.
