Diclofenac is considered as one of the few first line NSAIDs in the treatment of an array of acute and chronic painful and inflammatory conditions starting from arthritis to ankylosing spondylitis, tendinitis, and bursitis. It is available in almost every possible form such as oral, topical, injections etc. Aceclofenac, which is also a NSAID, used to treat almost similar symptoms to diclofenac said to have an equal efficacy but a greater tolerability than diclofenac. This article will review different studies comparing this two potent NSAIDs.
