I had examined a patient who was complaining of severe dizziness. When I checked her bp, her sbp was 130 on palpation but when I checked it again by auscultation it was 160. She had h/o hypertension. She was just out of the hospital due to stable compression of T12 and when I checked her records, her bp was normal throughout her stay and her doctor had also stopped her bp medicine (ramipril).
What is needed to do about her blood pressure measurements? How to follow up? Also, Does Gabapentin cause dizziness?
