Advising relatives to shift a seriously critical patient to a better hospital proved costly for a doctor from the Khadki Cantonment Hospital, as the irate relatives thrashed him, took away all records of patients and are absconding. According to the complaint lodged by Dr Prasad Ladi at the Khadki police station, the patient, Jitendra Kamble, was brought to Khadki Cantonment Hospital on Wednesday evening, as he was experiencing acute chest pain. "When doctors examined him, they found his heartbeats were missing. As his condition was critical, Dr Ladi began treatment on him.

Soon enough, his condition improved and his heart starting beating again. But the patient required better and urgent medical treatment.
