Three doctors have been booked for leaving needles in the stomach of a female patient. FIR was lodged against 3 doctors of gynecology and surgery department for endangering life of the patient. The patient’s husband alleged that his wife had delivered a baby at gynecology ward following surgery. After seven months, she started suffering stomach pain following which the couple again consulted the doctor from gynecology ward. The husband alleged that two surgeries were conducted in June 2015 and February 2017 but the cause of pain did not become clear.
When they contacted the same gynecologist again, she told them to consult the doctors in surgery ward. Two doctors of surgery ward operated his wife and took out two needles.
