Kudos to the mankind who invented and coined the term called ‘STRIKE’ that is bringing added misery in the history of medical profession. Modern medical profession is gradually loosing the charm of treating the sufferings with joy and enthusiasm. Why and how this happened is a big question mark and finger on the nose. Strike is undertaken to demand or avoid something in place of the other.
We never heard of doctors going on strike some decades previously because very hearty relations existed between doctors, patients and government. FAITH was the mantra that transferred to any patient after prescribing diversity of medications by variety of physicians. We heard this misleading term during seventies or eighties when a big noise was there on capitation fee abolishment and a meek hike on stipend (which was the primary concern).
