Four people died of swine flu in Telangana as the H1N1 virus continued to spread across the state especially among medical staff with 10 of them infected on Tuesday. The H1N1 virus has found an easy prey in medical community with two dozen hospitalized after accidentally coming into contact with infected swine flu patients. On Tuesday, 54 people tested positive for the virus taking the total number of positive cases to 491. The trend of H1N1 infection among doctors is very high at Osmania General Hospital (OGH) where 12 confirmed cases were reported in the last two weeks.

So much so that currently all the six positive patients undergoing treatment at the hospital's H1N1 ward are either faculty members or junior doctors.
