Case presentation A 36-year-old man complained of oral pain and loose teeth for the last one year. He also reported that he had lost four of his teeth within the last six months and had increased thirst and urination for the previous 4 months before the presentation. Examination Blood electrolyte levels indicated hypernatremia and dehydration. Panoramic radiograph (attached image) indicate "floating tooth" images. Biopsy of the mandibular lesion on the left side revealed inflammatory cell proliferation and S100+ CD1a+ + Langerhans' cells.
