The Department of Health, Abu Dhabi (DoH), the regulator of the healthcare sector in the Emirate, and a US-based medical firm have partnered to establish the UAE’s first Eye and Tissue Bank. This partnership will foster the creation, development, and operation of a comprehensive and coherent eye transplantation framework in the UAE.
