According to a recent study by the Boston University, chromosomal- Casitas B lineage Lymphoma (c-Cbl) protein enhances the survival rate in colon cancer patients. Research showed that colon cancer patients with high levels of the protein c-Cbl lived longer than those with low c-Cbl.

It also reduces tumor capabilities to grow in blood vessels. By developing new treatment on the same line, researchers can improve the quality of life in cancer patients.
