A mobile van has been started by the geriatric department of AIIMS Delhi, for encountering the health needs of old-age homes in the state. This van will be facilitated with the basic lab testing kits, medicines, and physiotherapy equipment.

Common illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes will be screened, tested and treated through this project. If it succeeds, the same will be recommended to the government to replicate the idea on large scale.
