I would like to nominate Dr.Sundarrajan, Ophthalmologist, Retired HOD from Govt.Vellore Medical college. He is a man of simplicity, dedication, and hard work. He is a person who comes every day early to work and late to leave, treated students and assistant professors, staff nurses and hospital workers as their friends.
Everyone who talks with him for 10 min will be attracted towards his simplicity despite his strong knowledge. With over 40 years of experience in the field of Ophthalmology and thousands of eye surgeries, and millions of people who were under his care felt like a messiah touched them, he is a perfect candidate for the Outstanding Service to the Humanity award. I do not know whether he accepts awards, but a legend like him should be made known because he was an inspiration to thousands of Doctors.
