Driver of a government owned bus has an epileptic seizure while driving the bus. The bus was overcrowded with about 75 passengers. As a result, bus was overturned causing minor injuries to most of the passengers. Luckily there was no mortality but every passenger was in psychological trauma of narrow escape.
Driving licence of an epileptic patient should be asked for cancellation that is what we teach to MBBS students. But how far it is practicable difficult to say. What is your opinion about the case and what measures can be taken to avoid such type of mishaps?
