Dulaglutide belongs to a class of compounds called GLP-1 receptor agonists. The two members of this class currently available in India are LIRAGLUTIDE and DULAGLUTIDE. LIRAGLUTIDE: This is available in India as a pre-filled syringe. This is prescribed as a daily injection, to be administered subcutaneously just like Insulin. It is usually prescribed in a daily dose of 0.6 mg for a week (for 2 weeks if you want slow titration), then 1.2 mg for a week (or two weeks) and then 1.8 mg to be continued.

However, many patients tolerate only upto 1.2 mg, so you can continue that dose, without going to 1.8 mg dose.
