Dental rehabilitation that utilizes implants can restore a patient's masticatory and phonetic functions since complete edentulism has a negative impact on the patient's overall quality of life. However, implants for the restoration of edentulous jaws are a subject of debate. Recent advancements allow for fewer implants along with immediate loading rehabilitation. However, there is still a need for more research on the long-term survival rate of these immediate loading implants in edentulous jaws using a reduced number of implants.
