Synopsis The study compared the survival rates, peri-implant marginal bone level, and peri-implant soft tissue on early loading with SLActive implant, CMI IS-III Active implant, and CMI IS-III HActive implant. In this 1-year randomized controlled trial, implant stability quotient (ISQ), peri-implant soft tissue parameters, and radiographs were used as study parameters to compare the different implants. The results showed no difference among the three groups in terms of insertional torque, ISQ values between the surgeries, and the consecutive follow-ups.
This study showed that early loading could be used safely and predictably in posterior mandibular single missing restorations.
