Growing violence against doctors, repeated assaults day by day and treating them like factory workers is influencing the mind of young doctors adversely.some glaring examples are repentance of a sufferer of assault who got selected in both engineering and medical profession" Alas! he would have opted for engineering then has not to bear such a physical harm.Now, a pg topper is opting for basic specialty just because of fear of assault in clinical ones. It is not a good sign for the medical profession.
I think time has come that IMA must take this issue for sake of profession on the priority basis. What is your opinion? Kindly share.
