Gallbladder duplication is a rare congenital anomaly that can pose diagnostic and surgical challenges. In this case, an obese adult presented with post-prandial upper abdominal pain and was diagnosed with duplicate gallbladder using ultrasonography alone.
With no complications present, the patient was managed conservatively through dietary modification and medications, resulting in complete symptom resolution. This case highlights the importance of careful imaging interpretation and demonstrates that conservative management can be a safe and effective option in selected uncomplicated cases, helping avoid unnecessary surgical intervention.
