Extramammary Paget's disease (EMPD) is one of the cutaneous adenocarcinomas often originate from the skin or skin appendages in areas with apocrine glands. Though surgical excision and micrographic surgery signify the best treatment options, still there is less evidence for the effective chemotherapy for advanced EMPD. A recent study which aimed to analyze the efficacy and side-effects of combination of 5‐fluorouracil (500 mg/body, 7 days/week) and cisplatin (5 mg/body 5 days/week) reported that there were no severe adverse events and showed improved survival as compared with best supportive care (P = 0.08, log-rank test).
