The current knowledge about breast cancer (BC) is due to the translational research that had begun in the western population. The extrapolation of the given information about the genomic and population variety of knowledge about breast cancer is incorrect with respect to the Indian population. That’s the reason, breast cancer research specific to Indian-population is the need of the hour. Herein, we describe the creation of pilot breast cancer Biobank-a source of clinically glossed biospecimens taken from breast cancer patients.
