Recently, I got to know that a hospital in Bihar confined a patient for 12 days who was unable to pay the bill of 1.5 lakh. Shocking indeed! Poor awareness related to medical insurance leads many Indians succumb to corporate hospital bills. However, I personally think it is unfair to charge exorbitantly that the private hospitals regularly practice.
