Synopsis Hip osteoarthritis (OA) is a difficult condition to treat. Often, intra-articular (IA) corticosteroid injections are used to reduce associated pain. However, due to its side effects, the use of corticosteroids is limited in clinical practice. Since there is a need for an alternative treatment, Hylan G-F 20 was evaluated for its efficacy and safety in the treatment of hip OA.
